Monthly Meeting Series Introduction

January 2025

We are starting 2025 off with two new projects: a redesigned website with a regular blog and our monthly meeting series. 

The meetings will be brief (1 to max 2 hours) and allow presentation and discussion of a range of WPV-CERT relevant topics.

Some meetings will be on Zoom, some by their nature in person. All meetings are optional, but we encourage all CERTs to join whenever they can and want to !

We will record the Zoom meetings and post them on our Youtube channel for people that are interested but cannot attend. Announcements and follow up discussions for these meetings will be on Slack and Groups.io as usual (you have joined those already, right  ?) - they will also be in our CERT calendar which you can subscribe to in your Google, Apple and Outlook calendars.

For the rest of the year, we have a variety of additional monthly meeting topics planned, and will want to get your input on what (else?) is most interesting / useful:

Also, as an FYI, we have a CERT Basic Training class starting February 4, 2025 and if you want a refresher on any of the covered topics (such as CERT Organization, Disaster Medical Operations, etc.) you can sit in on any classes. Detailed schedule is here.
