On Saturday, March 29, our current CERT class students had their hands-on skills day and exercise. This time, Woodside's new fire station - 12 years in the making - and its firefighters provided the location and instruction.

On Saturday March 22, 2025, the Woodside Fire Protection District celebrated its 100th birthday and official opening of the new Fire Station 7 on Woodside Road with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house.

If you are an existing CERT and would like some refresher training, just join for any of our 8 classes or even the skills day and exercise - but please let Kam know beforehand ! There will be another class offered in the fall of 2025.

During heavy winter storms with a lot of rain in the Winter of 2023/24 WPV-CERT was activated to help fill sandbags for residents both in Portola Valley and Woodside sandbagging stations.
