WPV-CERT Community Emergency Response Team

Serving the communities of
Woodside - Portola Valley - Emerald hills - Ladera - Los Trancos - Skyline - Vista Verde

The Woodside Portola Valley Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) supports our community’s ability to respond and recover after a disaster event.

CERT-trained volunteers learn how to prepare themselves and their families for disasters and how to assist others in the neighborhood or workplace immediately following an event when emergency responders may not be available to help.

Join us for Basic CERT Skills Training in Fall 2024!

Taking the CERT Basic skills training can help you, your family, and your community know how to respond when disasters strike.

When: Tuesday Nights from September 10th to October 22nd (6:30 - 9:30 pm)
Skills Day on Saturday, October 26th (9am-4pm)

Where: Location TBA

WPV-CERT is dedicated to creating a team of volunteer responders to help until professional responders are available. We also have another program in our area, WPV-Ready.Org, which focuses on helping every resident and household to be prepared before a disaster strikes.
